What you’ll study
Our program covers essential areas such as office procedures, document management, communication skills, and computer applications. You’ll learn front desk operations, appointment scheduling, customer service etiquette, record keeping, and basic accounting principles. Through hands-on activities and workshops, you’ll gain practical experience to effectively manage office operations.
This course must be taken alongside Computer studies and one of the following languages: English, French, or German, which are compulsory.
Entry Requirements
To enroll in the Basic Certificate in Secretarial and Office Management, applicants must have a Secondary Education Certificate (Form Four) with atleast Division 4 .
Proficiency in English is required, and supporting documents such as academic certificates, a birth certificate or national ID, and two passport-sized photos must be submitted.
Assessment
The majority of classes involve a final unseen exam, which is normally at the end of the semester. This is typically supplemented by individual and/or group coursework.
Students normally have one opportunity to be re-assessed for a failed class. Exam resits usually take place during the summer.
